The Super Tactical Droid was a new battle droid unit that was created to replace the T-series Tactical Droid during the Clone Wars. It was believed to be far superior to the original tactical droid and was actually given to Confederate leaders and generals as gifts. However, most droid units, such as General Kalani, were independent leaders, something these droids were capable of. Like all battle droids, this battle droid unit was shut down after the Clone Wars.
