R2-B1 was an R2 Astromech Droid used by the Naboo Security Forces onboard Queen Padme Amidala's royal starship. He was used as an Repair Droid along with many other astromech droids but, like the other droids, B1 was destroyed by the Trade Federation when the Queen tried to escape the planet during the Federal Invasion.
