3B3 is destroyed by Qui-Gon Jinn
3B3 was a B1 battle droid produced by Baktoid Combat Automata that served with the Trade Federation Droid Army prior to and during the Invasion of Naboo. His name was a shortened version of the droid's full serial number.
Droid Design[]
3B3 was one of the first B1 Battle Droid units created and was given masculine programming. He was created in 32 BBY by the Baktoid Combat Automata and given to the Trade Federation during their invasion of Naboo. His identification number was so long, he was only identified as 3B3.
Droid History[]
Following the First Battle of Theed, 3B3 intercepted Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi and their navigator, Jar Jar Binks, as the trio emerged from a Tribubble bongo on the Solleu River in Theed. Jinn destroyed 3B3 and continued with his mission to rescue Queen Amidala.
